"FOOD FOR TODAY, SKILLS FOR LIFE"

For over 100 years, the Clara White Mission has helped Jacksonville's at-risk individuals gain new perspectives on life.  The Mission has been the one-stop community center stimulating economic development through job training in Culinary Arts, Janitorial Environmental Service, job placement, housing initiatives, drop-in center, daily meals and more...

Do you know what hunger feels like? Do you know that painful, empty, grumbling feeling in your stomach? That dizzy feeling that comes from skipping a meal? Think about having that feeling—all the time. Your remedy is to eat a meal. But for thousands of homeless people in Jacksonville, that is not an option.

Now you can help us feed our city’s homeless and ease their pain. Join the Skip A Meal for Clara Campaign. Give whatever you can. We will give food—and hope—to the homeless. Thank you.

      A FOREIGN MISSION
             TO SERVE

A group of 29 foreign delegates
served at the Mission.  These
esteemed visitors whose visit
was arranged by the
International Visitor Corps
of Jacksonville
, the local partner for the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program were a
welcome volunteer force for our
lunch service.

We hope so have them stop by
the Mission on their next visit
to the United States.
