The Clara White Mission and Melanin Market are teaming up to raise awareness about food desert communities and bring resources that will help them thrive! We know the answer for Historic Moncrief Springs is food and financial resources. That is why we providing micro-grants for small sustainable BIPOC businesses focused on agriculture or eco-friendly business practices.

 

Embrace the rich culture of the Atlantic Coast sea Isalnds during our Gullah Geechee-inspired dinner at White Harvest Farms. We're putting the culture back in agriCULTURE to honor people of color who honor their ancestors through food, farming and kujichagulia (swahili term for self-determination).

 

Clara White Mission is excited about our first collaboration with Melaning Market and looking to make more partnership with people who want to sup[port our mission to feed, house and cloth homeless veterans, low-income families and ex-offenders. Our impact has endured 120 years and the legacy of our founder, Eartha White continue to transform Jacksonville every day. Please join us for food, drinks, music, and a program where you'll get to hear some stories from our community that wouldn't have been possible without your support.
